VOYA represents the Grand Voyage on the Merlin Chain. It signifies the rapid growth and heightened attention the <a href="/price/bitcoin-btc" target="_blank" class="blog_inner_link">Bitcoin</a> ecosystem has garnered at the start of this year, thanks to the introduction of BRC-20 assets. To acknowledge and celebrate this growth, we introduced the very first BRC-20 token to the Merlin Chain, positioning it as the premier Bitcoin L2 solution.

VOYA was issued by MerlinSwap, the largest onchain marketplace on btc layer2 Merlin Chain.

MerlinSwap is the first decentralized exchange on the Merlin Chain, featuring an innovative discrete liquidity Automated Market Maker (DLAMM) model. This model is designed to provide users with a trading experience that closely resembles that of centralized exchanges, boasting up to 3000 times the capital efficiency compared to traditional AMM models. We will be launching the MerlinSwap token IDO at 8 PM Singapore time tonight, with the token ticker being MP. We are allocating 6% of the token shares for public sale, with the IDO valued at 21 million. For this public sale, we have adopted a more transparent, community-driven strategy:

-MerlinSwap promises to use 50% of the platform's revenue to buy back ecosystem project tokens, in order to support liquidity. With the surge in ecosystem projects, the strategy is expected to bring more volumes and opportunities of buying back tokens, stimulate better liquidity and form a positive flywheel.

-**Long-term incentive plan**: Airdrops and Trade-to-Earn campaigns are designed to incentivize the development of the Merlin Chain/MerlinSwap ecosystem in the long term.

-**Community powered Airdrop**. 4% has taken the snapshot and will reward to the early traders, Liquidity providers in the merlin chain. And there is 16% token allocation is left for the future airdrop, which will be decided by the community, when who how we distribute.

If we sum all the reserve token that will be used as the ecosystem support token, there would be 80% of total MP token allocations.
